Ok now it’s getting real! January 1st the countdown began and today I took the next plunge and got my Amtrak ticket. Unfortunately due to construction on the rails the train I wanted isn’t going so I will get into LA on the 1st. that might not be so bad for starting on the 2nd. I might have to get some stuff but my biggest problem(?) is how to get to the start at Santa Monica Pier – not sure “Chuck” will fit in a cab…any ideas?
