Wow – I was talking to my doctor today and realized that my start date (2 March 2019) will be one day shy of my first hospitalization (in that 5 weeks of hospitalization) two years ago! I hadn’t realized that and it certainly wasn’t in my plans but I suppose it’s very fitting! When I left the hospital in late April/early May (I don’t even remember) i couldn’t even walk and didn’t think I would ever be able to fulfill this dream. But here I am 2 years later and thanks to so many wonderful people in my life (in every single aspect of it from Medical, to work, to running, to people out of the blue) I will be able to start (and hopefully complete) this wonderful journey! As it gets closer and closer I am in greater awe each and every day and am starting to live much more in gratitude than in fear and that is a very good thing! thanks to all of you!
